Otto Lucà: the chef

Otto is the chef-patron of the restaurant.

After graduating from the hotel management school in Turin and completing an important internship at the "Vintage 1997" with Pierluigi Consonni, he immediately left for France to learn the basics of classic and international cuisine.

In Ottrott, a small town near Strasbourg, in Alsace, Otto graduates again and works for 6 years in Ernest Schaetzel's luxury hotel at the Hostellerie des Chateaux, led by Eddy Friedrich, who he still considers his most great master.

The desire for change brings Otto back to Italy and for 3 years he works in the starred restaurant of the Reggia di Venaria, where he becomes Fabrizio Milano's sous chef, who teaches him the fundamentals of Italian cuisine.

Here he meets Elisa, the room manager, who becomes his life partner.

In 2017 the Ferrari family and Piero Chiambretti took Otto to the Birilli, a historic Turin restaurant where he remained for 2 years as head chef.

The desire to be able to fully express himself leads Otto to change again and, from 2019, to move to the Langa together with Elisa,

at Grecale di Novello with chef Alessandro Neri.

After a period together, in August 2020

Otto takes over the leadership of the restaurant.

Thus was born the LANGOTTO, a new restaurant in which the chef wants to express and synthesize his cuisine and his experiences.

Elisa Andreotti: the hall

Elisa is the fulcrum of the restaurant's hospitality and service, as well as the chef's companion.

Originally from Cumiana, she graduated from the Pinerolo hotel school and after some time she moved for 4 years to the heart of the Langhe, to Grecale di Novello, led by chef Alessandro Neri.

The desire for change leads Elisa to a new work experience and in 2016 she begins her journey at the Dolce Stil Novo at the Reggia di Venaria and there she becomes room manager and sommelier under the direction of Stefania Filippini.

Meanwhile Elisa cultivates her great passion for wine and graduates from the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS).

In 2019 there is the great opportunity to return to the vineyards of Novello, this time together with Otto, known at the time in Venaria Reale.

Since August 2020, the discretion in the reception service and his passion for the wine world have been concentrated in the new adventure, at the LANGOTTO, a new restaurant.
